Obituary
Mary Jane Farr, 91, of Holt, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024. Born on February 17, 1932, in Lansing, Michigan, Mary was a loving and generous individual who left a lasting impact on those around her. She had a heart full of love and was always there to support her family and friends. Mary had a special bond with her grandchildren and gook great joy in spoiling them, along with her beloved dog Kallie. She found immense pleasure in finding good deals at estate sales and had a knack for sharing sweet treats with anyone she could.
Mary is survived by her children, Bryan (Helen) and Gail, as well as her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew (Dana), Sean, and Justin (Chelsea). She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren, her sister Marilyn, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Robert Farr, her parents Otto and Evelyn Dawson, six siblings, son Michael, a granddaughter Rebecca, and a son-in-law Robert. Mary´s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
A chapel and graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2023 at 12:30 pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, Michigan 48906 to celebrate Mary´s life and honor her memory.
