Michael was a valued personal friend and my employer, multiple times. I was just a kid when I started working for Michael and he taught me a tremendous amount about machining. He would not hesitate to stop work to have a conversation, and we had many. He was a good boss to work for and even better friend. We played golf together many times. I will dearly miss Michael as a mentor. He helped me through many difficult times in my life.

I met Mike when he was in the old "DieMaster" location in downtown Gresham. I was the outside salesman for Cascade Tool. That must have been in the early 80's because I have known Mike for many years. Mike was really one of a kind, always humble and easy going. Whether it was on the phone or in person I always enjoyed visiting with Mike. He always had something good to say. I was shocked when I read of his passing. My prayers and thoughts go to his wife Karen and Dustin and the rest of the family. God Bless Mike in his new journey.

I only had one very brief opportunity to get to know Mike. It was when Mike and Karen opened their lovely home for the marriage of my Son, Colby to Kaitlyn. Any of you that attended know that it was a very special time indeed. Mike and I really hit it off cause he and I had a lot in common. My biggest regret was not getting a chance to play golf with him. I will catch up to him on Heaven’s fairways.

Mike was the best boss I ever worked for. He was kind and generous never had a bad thing to say. One of the things he would say is "work smarter not harder" he taught me how to do that at the shop. Rest in peace Mike and thank you for giving me a chance at Die Masters.

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mike. He was truly a kind and thoughtful man. He will be missed by all. We only met him when we bought the motor home, and his kind and generous spirit was evidenced by all his care, thoughtfulness and guidance as we became first time motor home owners. May he rest in peace.

It was a true pleasure to have worked with Mike for the last 16 years. One of the most intelligent and talented individuals I've known, coupled with extreme kindness and a great sense of humor. Without Mike and his vision for safer fabrication equipment, I can say with confidence that our company would not be where we are today. A truly talented man and will be greatly missed!

He will be missed greatly. But not forgotten on our weekly golf outings.

Michael. He was such a wonderful friend, and a beautiful soul. He was always his higher self in every situation. Had a brilliant mind for figuring out any project. I'll always treasure the times we had in Troutdale with He and Karen. The world should've come to a screeching halt at his passing. He was one of a kind.
He always walked in strength, humility, and kindness. That's truly a gift.
He was a good man, and truly left his mark on this planet.
Godspeed Michael. You'll certainly be missed.
Deepest, heartfelt sympathy Karen and family. You're all in my prayers.
I bet he's already had several rounds of golf on the best golf course imaginable.
Love always,
JoAnn Anderson

A true gentleman that will be sorely missed. Mike played a huge part during my company’s early start up years. I would present a project that needed tooling and Mike would patiently listen and then offer a solution better than I thought possible. I enjoyed my trips to the shop more for the conversation than the business aspects. My condolences to his family, he is gone too soon.

Worked with Mike and Karen when they were just dating in South El Monte, CA. A wonderful loving couple that I was fortunate to have been able to reunite with a few years ago.
