When his mother became ill, he transferred to Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he played baseball and went to the state championship. After graduation, Mike attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his masters degree.

Michael was an avid golfer. Very humble, he had the finest double eagle on #1, a par 5, 478 yards at Club De Bonmont at Plantation Bay. He won many club championships.

Mike and Dawn cherished their life and friends at Plantation Bay for 26 years. A member of Seven Oaks Country Club and the Greek Catholic Union.
