Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Natasha Renee Brien. She went peacefully to her Lord on January 17, 2026

Tasha was a Christian. She was baptized in 1970 at Grace Lutheran Church in Crescent City and later attended the Refuge Christian Fellowship, in Crescent City. She worked in the health care industry and was loved by her clients, friends and family.

Tasha was born in Racine, Wisconsin on April 15, 1969, along with her twin sister Michelle. She graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha. She worked with the developmentally disabled. She moved to Crescent City in 2015 to help take care of her grandmother. She married the love of her life, Joe Brien on June 24, 2017.

Tasha is survived by her Husband Joe, Daughter Ashlie Reed, Granddaughter Aryah, Sister Michelle Trinidad (Joe,) Mother Pamela Meirndorf, Father George Yarber (Marge) and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Taya Reed in August, her grandparents Mahlon and Florence Howard, and stepfather Lloyd Meirndorf.

A Celebration on Life will be held TBD. Memorial contributions may be made to her loving husband Joseph Brien.
