Obituary

NORMAN C. KACZMARCZYK


Age 82, of Mokena, passed away on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023 at his home in Mokena.


Norman is survived by his loving family, wife, Nancy Kaczmarczyk (Vrshek), daughter, Katie (Lucas) Oliveira, brother, John (Diane) Kaczmarczyk, grandchildren, Liam Oliveira, Max Oliveira, brothers in-law and sisters in-law, David and Kathy Vrshek, Ken and Dottie (deceased) Vrshek, Gerald (deceased) and Millie Vrshek and numerous nieces and nephews.


Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Casimir & Gertrude Kaczmarczyk (Mazur) and daughters, Staci Kaczmarczyk and Cassandra Kaczmarczyk.


Norman was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mokena, retired from IBM Corporation in 2006 after 40 years of service and especially loved fishing with his buddies, Bob, Marty and Leonard.


Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Monday, October 9th, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10731 W. LaPorte Road, Mokena, IL 60448. Interment, Mount Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mokena IL or MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX would be greatly appreciated.
