Obituary

NORMA J. YINGST, 92, of Weirton, WV passed Thursday September 7, 2023 at home. She was born June 15, 1931 in Hollidays Cove, WV, daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Jaussand Fages. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Warren F. Yingst (2009); and sister, Isabelle Johns.
Norma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and TLC Women. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and many card clubs. She and her late husband were members of the former Weir Happy Wheels Camper Club.
Norma is survived by daughter, Diana Mankowski (Joe) of Weirton; son, David W. Yingst (Lynn); granddaughter, Megan DeMoss (Gary); and great-granddaughter, Charlotte DeMoss, all of Cape Coral, FL.
Visitation will take place Monday September 11, 2023 from 3 to 6 PM at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, where the service will take place Tuesday at 11 AM with Pastor Michael Heckathorn presiding. Entombment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
