Pam McKnight

Obituary

Pamela Marlene McKnight, 73, of Springfield, MO, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2022. Pam was born on Monday, September 6, 1948, in Detroit, MI to John and Marie McMullin.

Pam grew up in Springfield where she attended Parkview High School.  She graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Education and a minor in Business.  She started her banking career as a teller at Southern Missouri Trust Company, soon after becoming an auditor at Mercantile Bank. Pam ended her career as a Financial Administrator at Central Bank. Her greatest joy was her daughter Karli. She felt fortunate to spend several years as a stay-at-home Mom, including many hours volunteering at Disney Elementary.  Pam also enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband to Hawaii, Canada, and Switzerland.  Her favorite trips were to their timeshare in Orlando, where they would seek out a new local restaurant during each visit.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 44+ years Robert McKnight of Springfield, MO three daughters Karli Collins (husband Brian) of Springfield, MO, Kim Rivera (husband Randy) of Littleton, CO and Kristi Carlisle (husband Clay) of Arlington, TX, one sister Sandra Agostini (husband Ronnie) of Nixa, MO and four grandchildren Katie, Tanner, Allison and Andrew.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5-7 PM at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 10 AM on Friday, March 18, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Victory Mission + Ministry, www.victorymission.com/donate. Online condolences may be made at www.klingnerfuneralhoome.com
