Obituary

Ronald D. Gray, age 71, passed away on June 24th, 2023.  He was born on June 17th, 1952 to parents Charles Gray and Mildred Gray (Pickering).

Ronald graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1972.  He worked for Merle Lindsey Chevrolet as a body man, Key Chevrolet, Deheart Chevrolet, Stout Battery, Harris Glass, and for Marsh Supermarket up until he retired.

Ronald loved working on cars and trucks.  He enjoyed building his ‘67 Corvette and going to car shows and spending time with his family and friends.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Linda Gray; sons John Gray (wife Carisa Secor) and Garry Gray (girlfriend Tonya Rougeau); daughter Ronda Snow (husband William Snow); step daughters Toya (Lewis) Chriswell and Misty (Lewis) Johnston (husband Ted Johnson); step sons Justin Ice (wife Tyera) and Jeremiah Ice (wife Josie); sisters Diana Purvis, Linda Logan, Londa Johnson (husband Melvin Johnson), and Connie Gray; brothers Phillip Gray and Brian Gray (wife Judy Gray); step brother Max Smith; sister-in-laws Shirley Wolfe and Cindy Morgan; brother-in-laws Dan Herbert (wife Jamie) and David Clevenger; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.

Ronald was preceded in death by his late wife, Sarah Gray; brother Charles Gray; brother-in-laws Garry Clevenger and Tom Clevenger; sister-in-laws Teri Clevenger and Gwen Clevenger; mother Mildred Jean Gray (Pickering); father Charlie Gray; brother Bill Gray; mother-in-law Alberta Clevenger; nephew Chad Clevenger; step mother Barbara (Smith) Gray; parent-in-laws Delores and Elmer (Curley) Herbert.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Garden View Funeral Home.  There will be a celebration of life on Thursday, June 29th at Farmland Friends Church,  8311 IN-32 Farmland, IN 47340, from 4pm-6pm.  A burial will take place at a later date.
