Ruth I. Marshall Clawson
Ruth has gone to be with her love Dan in heaven on June 24,2024.
Ruth was born in March 1932 in Watkins, Pa to Blair and Catherine Marshall, the eleventh of twelve children.
Ruth is survived by her children Constance ( Garry) Pottenger, Glenn ( Nancy ) Clawson, Karl ( Ann) Clawson, Nancy Snell, and Gregg ( Rebecca) Clawson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren ,12 great grandchildren , plus a  great grandson on the way and 1 great , great grandson on the way.
Ruth was preceded in death by Dan,  two children : Susan White and Russell Clawson and a son-in-law William Snell,  Along with her parents, and her 11 siblings.
 Ruth graduated from Spangler high school, was a majorette in the band. 
Ruth married her high school sweetheart, and they were together for 68 years before his passing in 2020.  She became a wife and mother of seven children and was very good at both. 
After she and Dan “retired” they played golf, lots of golf, in Indiana and Florida. She also enjoyed many of her grandchildren’s sports, singing and acting events. We will all miss her dearly.
Rev Doug Bohall will perform a private graveside ceremony on June 29,2024, there will be no funeral service as she requested.
