Obituary

Susan K. "Sue" Clark, 73, of O'Fallon, Illinois, passed away on February 3, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O'Fallon, Illinois.
Sue was born January 26, 1949, To Basil and Sophie (Gailius) Clark in Belleville, Illinois. Before her retirement, she worked for Famous Barr and Macy's for 45 years where she worked on the Operating Budget.
Her main love was to volunteer, she did so at nursing homes, for Susan G. Komen where she assisted in raising funds for breast cancer, and Backstoppers.  Her family and friends were her life.  She loved to have lunches with her high school classmates and dear friends.  Sue also had a love for baking chocolate chip cookies and taught many children as they assisted her in the baking.  Sue also enjoyed traveling, she had many favorite places that she visited like: Mexico, Tunica, Mississippi, Italy, and an Alaskan cruise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Daniel Radford.
Survivors include her brother, Michael Clark and wife Debi of The Villages, Florida; sister, Kathy Manion and husband Russell of Collinsville, Illinois; nephews:  Michael Radford, John Paul Clark, Scott Clark, and David Clark.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
