She was an avid reader and loved music. Aside from being an accomplished pianist she also enjoyed playing her banjo, cello, mandolin, ukulele, and violin.

After graduating from Del Norte High School with honors, she attended Humboldt State University and earned an associate degree from the College of the Redwoods.

A career in social services where she advanced to Medi-Cal supervisor was followed by her affiliation with attorney Chris Doehle that led to her position with the Del Norte Superior Court's Self-Help Center.

Her smile, her laughter, her pranks, her overall quirkiness, her genuine kindness, her generosity, and her love of life will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th at 12 noon.  Burial will be at the Howonquet Cemetery on South Indian Road in Smith River, with a fellowship potluck to follow at the Lucky 7 Casino's Event Center.
