Obituary

Thomas Michael Flanders, 68, of Port Orange, FL passed away on March 10, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1956 in Queens, NY to parents Richard and Eleanor Flanders. He was raised in Breezy Point, NY. He belonged to the International Union of Operating Engineers in NY and was part of the cleanup responders at the World Trade Center after 9/11. Tommy loved hunting and fishing, and spent many years doing both.
He is predeceased by his mother, Eleanor, and father, Richard, a 20 year Navy veteran and 15 year NYPD retired police officer.
He leaves behind a sister, Helene (Don) Mastromauro, and 2 brothers; Ed (Valerie) Flanders and Ricky (Dee) Flanders, as well numerous nieces and nephews living in Florida, New Jersey, and California.
