Timothy M Texter

April 24th, 1975 - February 8th, 2023

Obituary

Timothy M. Texter, age 47, of Shaler Township, suddenly, on the ice doing what he loved on February 8, 2023.
Husband of Christina Muto Texter.
Father of Gino and Nicolina Texter.
Son of Robert and the late Donna Texter.
Brother of Raymond Texter.
Uncle of Maggie, Hank and Gemma.
Son-in-law of Donna Muto.
Brother-in-law of Anthony Muto and Carmen (Noah) Bauer.
Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tim had many passion projects over the years, but by far his first love was his family. He was dedicated to supporting his family, spoiling his princess Nicolina, and relished the time he was able to spend traveling to Ohio and beyond to root on Gino as he honed his skills as a goalie for an elite hockey team. Tim was always willing to help out a friend. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, son in law, brother, brother in law, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and coach.
Tim was a huge supporter and integral part of the Pittsburgh Hockey community, and was always willing to properly sharpen skates, nurture  players as a coach/Ref, and offer advice to both players and parents alike. He loved the game and encouraging others to love it as well at The Penalty Box, his pick up leagues, Texter/Kratsa Hockey, and the infamous Turkey Cup played each Thanksgiving day.
