Victory Lawrence Bell

June 25th, 1947 - October 12th, 2025

Obituary

Victory Lawrence Bell, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at a hospital in Clackamas, Oregon.

Born on June 25, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Victory was the cherished son of Cecil Bell and Ginevra Ascione. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Los Angeles, California, where he spent his formative years before relocating to Oregon in the mid-1970s.

Victory dedicated many years of his life to his career as a diesel mechanic for Tri Met, a job he truly loved, and from which he eventually retired. Even after retirement, he found joy in pursuing his passion for photography and enjoyed riding motorcycles, particularly his beloved BMW. He also took part in countless motorcycle rallies, where he formed lasting friendships along the way.

Beyond his professional life, Victory was deeply committed to giving back to his community in Estacada. He volunteered his time generously and shared his photography skills with those around him.

Victory is survived by his daughter, Erika Bell; grandson, Cameron Kauppi; brother, Ronald Bell; sister, Linda Osbourne; along with numerous lifelong friends and community members who will remember him fondly.

As we celebrate the life of Victory Lawrence Bell, we honor his legacy of kindness, creativity, and community spirit. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
