Obituary

Wanda Lee Beatty 75 of Follansbee, WV died suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at home with her children at her side.
Born on August 9, 1947, in Weirton, WV a daughter of the late Steven and Betty (Stewart) Klepack. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard Eugene Beatty on January 3, 2023, and a brother David Klepack.
Wanda worked for many years at Fisher’s Big Wheel, Follansbee Pharmacy, and Weisberger’s Clothing all in Follansbee, WV. She was also a devoted homemaker and member of the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ.


Wanda is survived by two sons, Richard E. (Kathy) Beatty, Jr. and Brian (Autumn) Beatty both of Follansbee, WV; four grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Sizemore, Matt Beatty, Kayla (Dustin) Schoonmaker, Blaine Beatty; five great grandchildren, Emma, Antonio, Lincoln, Easton, and Emmalyn; two brothers, Robert (Barbara) Johnston of Calcutta, OH and Edgel Covey of Follansbee, WV; four brothers-in-law, Charles Beatty of Colliers, WV, Harry Beatty of Follansbee, WV, Robert Beatty of FL, Harold (Patty) Beatty of Colliers, WV; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Visitation for Wanda will be held on Friday, February 10th from 5-8 P.M. and again on Saturday, February 11th from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Pastor Diane Loughrie, officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.
