Obituary
William “Bill” L. Pickett, age 75, passed away on February 4th, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 5th, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana to parents Everet and Violet Pickett.
Bill was a dedicated and hard worker. If anyone ever needed help, he’d be there to take care of them. He was proud to be a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Bill loved to travel and go on cruises with his wife Judy and enjoyed his time living in Florida. He was an animal lover and loved his malti-poo Jackson very much.
Bill is survived by his son, Jeff (Angie) Pickett; brothers Ronald (Peg) Pickett and Tom (Janice) Pickett; sisters Connie Garringer and Betina Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Pickett and his parents, Everet and Violet Pickett.
Services for Bill will be held on Friday, February 9th, 2024 at Garden View Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 11:00am - 12:00pm and a funeral service will begin at 12:00pm, officiated by Jeremy Bousman. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery after the funeral, with military honors to be conducted by the Delaware County Honor Guard. Memorial contributions can be made to A.R.F.
