William "Bill" Thrasher

Obituary

William "Bill" Thrasher, a beloved husband, devoted father, and esteemed member of the Muncie community, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2024, in his hometown of Muncie, Indiana. He was born on October 11, 1959, to Ray and Betty (Berg) Thrasher.
Bill found spiritual nourishment and lifelong friendships at True Light Baptist Church, where he was an active member for several years.
Bill shared a loving marriage of 35 years with his beloved wife, Connie (Liston) Thrasher. He was a proud and supportive father, actively involved in his son's life and celebrating his achievements with unwavering pride. Bill's bond with his son, Keith, was strengthened through their shared love of baseball games. He also enjoyed his card games with close friends.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Liston) Thrasher; his son, Keith Thrasher (wife, Whitney); sister, Cookie Frost; grandchildren, Austin and Ava Thrasher. 
Bill is preceded in passing by his parents’ Ray and Betty (Berg) Thrasher; and his sister, Peach Roe.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Garden View Funeral Home.
