Obituary
William Ransom “Dubby” Womack, 87, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy. Dubby was of the Baptist faith. He was a carpenter by trade. Dubby like to piddle and work on things. He enjoyed staying busy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Sarah Womack, daughter, Kathy Frost and many siblings.
Survivors are his wife of 69 years, Doris Womack; children, Janice Ware (Steve), Tim Womack (Jeanetta), Carol Cooper (Brian); grandchildren, Jaimy Ware, Kristy Kohlman, Jason Frost, Lori Frost, John Cooper, Daniel Cooper, Brandon Cooper, Amy Womack; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great grandson; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Auddie May officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton County Memorial Park.
